Nicole Biondi
Nicole Biondi is the strategic head of marketing and communications activities for Innovation Edge, a social impact investor focused on early childhood. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Capita, a US-based Think Tank that aims to foster new ideas to ensure a future in which children and their families flourish. She has a deep understanding of South Africa’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, and how tourism can support it. She is a dynamic leader with expertise in event management, public speaking and coaching skills.
Elsie Mbugua
Elsie is the Founder and Managing Director of Leadwood Energy, a specialist advisory company focused on renewable energy projects. She was voted 2019 Young Emerging Energy Leader and also received an award recognition for her exceptional leadership in Africa’s energy sector. In 2020, her Firm was voted Best Renewable Energy Consulting Firm in East Africa and was also the recipient of the 2020 East Africa Green Future Leadership Award. Her thoughts on Africa’s energy transformation are widely published in numerous energy journals.
Chris Muwanguzi
Christopher is the CEO of Child’s i Foundation, a group that transitions children from institutional orphanages to family-based care. With the understanding that kids most need love, consistency and connection, he and his team help children reunite with local families that are able to provide emotional, mental and physical support. Through evidence-based research, he has developed innovative, sustainable interventions that create long-term solutions for communities and the generations to come.
